A Note from Roland:

Happy Tuesday, everyone! I can't believe February is almost behind us. I was so busy with Chris Botti, Savoy Brown, & Warren Hill, that I completely forgot about this update. So we will make this the February/March 2013 update.

BMG has four great concerts coming up in March and April. In March we have Ottmar Liebert, March 20 and The International Rolling Stones Tribute, March 21. Both shows are at the Henegar Center. In April, it's Al Stewart April 19 at the Henegar, and Chris Botti at the King Center. Chris Botti took a little doing but I am VERY happy that we were able to agree on a date at the King Center on April 28.

I often get emails from patrons asking me to bring in their favorite artists. As much as I would love to have a concert every couple of weeks, we can only do so much. Most times it's not politically possible to add a Brevard date for some artists already in Florida. Often times their fees are too high for our area. But I feel lucky that we are able to put many dates together with agents and artists that end up really liking performing in Brevard and want to come back.

Putting these concerts together takes a great deal effort with some things being out of my control. My partners and I are greatly dependent on you, the music lover and ticket purchaser. As I've mentioned in the past, we don't have sponsors or investors. We don't have patrons donating hundreds of dollars to our cause. We are not able to apply for grants. We are totally dependent on ticket sales. That's why I am constantly reaching out to you, and so appreciative of the support you give us.

Because of that support I am pleased and excited to announce theBrevard Jazz Series 20th Anniversary Benefit Auction,  Dinner and Concert featuring saxophonist Warren Hill! This event will take place the weekend of June 1st and 2nd. More details will follow very soon via email and on our website and Facebook page.
